Koinonia Coon Cattery
Our small TICA and CFA registered Maine Coon cattery is founded on our love for these amazing cats, and our desire to share this breed with our local and distant community. We intentionally chose each cat in our small cattery. Our Coons are in and among our family, NEVER caged, and we desire a healthy environment that brings them much love and attention. They have freedom to be indoors or outdoors on our 20x40 ft fully enclosed Catio. We will never compromise the well being of our cats to further a level of production.

Koinonia Coon Litters
We will always have plans and spacing for litters, but our cats may decide different. We let our cats lead and always breed by a 3rd heat cycle due to infection risk. We have 4 beautiful breeding age females and 2 impeccable male. We will get various color and trait options with each of our 4 breedings. We plan to have 2 litters per female per year, but this may differ depending on heat cycles . We have a current kitten list at all times. This keeps fairness, organization, and communication. Koinonia Coon Kittens
Our Koinonia Kittens are our little treasures while in our household. They are raised in our home, and are purposefully interacted with from only days old. Neonatal handling serves to stimulate a kitten’s neurological, endocrine and circulatory systems at a point in life when their brain’s are undergoing massive development… thus creating lifelong physical and emotional stability. Koinonia Coon Adopters
We value the relationships of our kitten adopters and seek to provide a memorable experience along the way. With this, comes lots of communication, photos, updates, and resources. We welcome messages, phone conversations, and video chat anytime. There are horrendous amounts of Maine Coon scams going on. You deserve a legitimate adoption process. This is a big decision and we see it as such. We want this to be fun and exciting as you bring the next fur member into your family!

Our Maine Coons
Our Maine Coons come from superb European bloodlines with pedigrees, champion ancestry, and worldwide registries. Our King and Queens are all DNA tested with negative testing results. Each cat carries specific traits to further solidify superior MC kitten quality. Every Koinonia Coon has the most loving, social temperament which we hold to be most important as a breeding trait. As much as we will rave about the quality of our cats, our animal husbandry and care is always a top priority. Our cats are such a gift to our lives!

Maine Coon Facts
Maine Coons are one of the oldest natural breeds in North America, and they almost went extinct in the 1960’s. They are considered top friendliest and affectionate breed of cats. These gentle giants love to be social and among their humans, and can get along with everyone (kids, dogs, and cats included). Maine Coons are recognized by their tufted paws and ears, pronounced mane, and coon like tails. They mature until 3-5 years old, and are extremely intelligent and stunning. It’s no wonder they are so loved!
